Accepting 2020 Applications Now!!

The 2020 swim season is around the corner and we want to work with you! We will begin accepting applications for the 2020 season February 1st! Returning guards eligible for rehire will receive notice by mail. To begin the application process please fill out the Lifeguard Application below! We currently do not have information on when the pools will be opened for this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage you to still fill out your application and register for training to get prepared for when we are able to open for the summer. Please see our lifeguard training page in relation to training updates.

Coming back to work another great summer? Awesome, glad to have you back. Remember, you will either need a Refresher course to refresh your skills before you get back on the stand, or your certification is about to expire and you will need a Review Class to renew your certification for another 2 years. Don't forget to submit your application for this summer as well.

The Refresher Class is a 3 hour class meant to refresh lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR skills. You must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification in order to take the class. If you didn't obtain your certification with GCA, you will be asked to take a Refresher Class to ensure your skills meet American Red Cross standards. The class is held at our office.  Register for the Refresher Class below

The Review class is a 2 day class for participants who are currently certified and about to expire. You have 30 days from expiration to qualify for a Review Class. After that, you must take the entire Lifeguard Certification Class.
