All returning guards who will NOT expire this summer are required to take this
course. It is a refresher of all skills taught in the lifeguarding course.

LIFEGUARD REVIEW:

 

If your certification has not expired but will this summer this is the course you will need to take. DO NOT let your certification expire, if you do, you will no longer be eligible for the review but will be required to take the entire American Red Cross Lifeguarding course again instead.

The 2018 swim season is around the corner! We look forward to working with you again this summer! We will begin accepting applications for the 2018 season March 1st! Returning guards eligible for rehire will receive notice by mail. To begin the application process please print out the Lifeguard Application, fill it out and mail, fax, email or bring it by our office! Once you return the completed packet to our office we will evaluate your application.

UNIFORMS:

The Gulf Coast Aquatics, Inc. requires all employees to be in our uniforms. If you are a returning employee please check your uniform for wear and tear. You must have your uniform before you begin working.


UNIFORM SHOP HERE:

After you receive an Official Offer of Employment from Gulf Coast Aquatics, please visit the links below and complete the forms. These forms must be returned TOGETHER AND COMPLETE NO LATER than your first day, along with the required forms of identification for I-9 completion. If you need paper copies, please contact us or come into the office. Thank you.

  1. I-9 Form link: https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-9.pdf?download=1 (see acceptable id and form instructions on the main website (https://www.uscis.gov/i-9) if needed.  Originals of identification MUST be brought to the office before the first day of employment.

Managers/Asst. Managers
We are currently looking for qualified pool managers and Assistant managers for the 2018 pool season!! Pool Manager: The pool manager is responsible for the general safety, water safety, sanitation of the facility and general daily operations of the pool. Assistant Pool Manager: The Asst. Manager is directly responsible for assisting the pool manager and will function as the pool manager in his or her absence. If you are interested please call our office to get more information and schedule an interview.

Swim Lesson Instructors
If you are interested in making extra money for the summer, become a Swim Lesson Instructor and teach swimming lessons. You make extra money teaching the swim lessons and get paid more for lifeguarding. Contact our Aquatics director, Rhea Ibarra for more information! Water Refreshers
All returning employees must take a water refresher course before working for the summer. The water refresher is to refresh all water rescue skills including back boarding and also review CPR skills in depth. Please see the above online registration to sign up for a class.


ORIENTATION:
Once the Gulf Coast Aquatics, Inc office has evaluated your application, you will receive information regarding orientation. The orientation is the explanation of our policies and procedures as well as a kick off to our summer season. We will have food, beverages and door prizes. You will have a chance to pick up your Gulf Coast Aquatics, Inc. uniforms.
